Akua'ba Jewelry from Jane Iris

Once I ordered an African style woven bag from an online company. When the order came there was a small wooden statue inside the purse - a gift for buying from them. I liked it because it looked like a woman, a mother even. I collect these types of sculpture so it was a delightful gift. I found out later that my little wooden friend was Akua'ba, an African fertility doll affirming our ability to create lives. She was created by an elder African woman, Aku, in order to become pregnant and have a healthy baby. Perfect! I've found these bronze earrings and pendant in Aku'ba's image. I hope you like them as much as I do. The earrings are just under 1.5" tall ( not including the earwire). and the pendant is 1 3/4" tall and is strung on a black rayon cord.

Earrings #EAR-AK $24.95

Pendant #PEN-AK $27.00

Fertility Pendant from Jane Iris

This beautiful sterling silver pendant on a black silky cord looks just like a cervix to me. And it should, I suppose, as fertility is not only the ability to create or generate beings, but also to be receptive to them and, when ready, to pass them into the wider world.  Pendant measures approximately 1" tall x 3/4" wide.

#PEN-FER $37

Gestation Pendant

This substantial sterling pendant is a real eye catcher with it's 2mm cultered pearl focal point. Artist Jane Iris derived this from a Ukranian design, the image representing incubation, the pre-emergent growth of an entity, idea or fetus. This pendant comes on an extra long rayon black cord. Pendant measures 1 3/4" high x 1" wide.

#PEN-GES $60

Receptivity Pendant

Jane Iris's Receptivity Pendant comes in both bronze and silver, and you'll recognize this design from one of our popular candles we've been offering on our Blessing Way page, as well as shown below. Again here receptivity means the ability to receive what we wish for, what we truly want, as well as being a symbol for what can come out and be received into world. Pendant measures 1" around and comes strung on a black rayon cord.

#PEN-REC $39
