I love books. I especially love books that feature breastfeeding and home birth as it seems that our modern media tends to hide these natural functions and occurrences from us like sweeping dust bunnies under that old dresser.

We're looking for a few good books!
Here at Attachments we're always looking for new books to add to our collection. We're not looking for quantity, we're looking for quality. Children's books that show breastfeeding or home birth are at the top of our list for books we want to carry. Please do not suggest a book if it shows the use of pacifiers, bottles, excessive crib use, or uses stereotypes or generalities like "the terrible twos" and "good girl/boy" or "bad girl/boy".
We do carry a few books that show bottles - specifically Welcoming Babies. In this book the bottles shown on the counter are obviously for a stay-at-home dad to give while mama works. These are situations where the bottle isn't being tossed into the illustration for any other reason except to help in the promotion of the bottle as a symbol of infancy.
We receive a lot of book suggestions for fabulous children's books, they make us smile, and sometimes bring a tear to the eye. But to keep our focus we really only want suggestions that fit the above criteria.
